Fiona Brown

Fiona Brown has been one of Scotland's fitness leaders since 1987 and holds among many other qualifications, AFAA certifications as fitness instructor, personal trainer and teacher trainer. She completed her Pilates training with Distinction with Michael King's Mat based Pilates in July 2000 and has since updated with amongst others, Cherry Baker's Modern Pilates, TheraPilates for Osteoporosis with Sherri Betz and most recently the Pilates Excel Programme in Geneva with 2nd generation Pilates Instructor Rebecca Leone. In 2005 she launched The EnergyWise Academy for teacher training and in 2008 wrote the Level 3 Pilates training course which has been mapped to the National Occupational Standards.

The Awarding Body V.T.C.T. have recently invited Fiona to become one of their Technical Expert Group and to work collaboratively with them on the development of future qualifications.

Fiona is known for her relaxed, fun classes which achieve results due to her attention to detail and great depth of knowledge and experience. Her mantra of Less is More has helped many many clients over the last nine years including sufferers of chronic back pain, Post Polio Syndrome, amputees and countless clients who have been referred by Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, GPs and Neuro Surgeons.
